PUIK DESIGN

Puik founders Freek Claessen and Daan Gescher always had a passion for art and design. Inspired by the quality and enthusiasm of Dutch designers, they decided to let their dreams come true and started Puik in 2012.

The owners realized that Dutch designers make good products, but they do not have enough knowledge and experience to market their products. Freek and Daan, who are professionals in sales and production, bundled their knowledge and strength. This resulted in a portfolio of diverse, beautiful design icons, which were soon sold in countless shops.

Puik has grown in the past years, and that is why it was time for a rebranding. Under art direction of Tineke Beunders (Ontwerpduo), Puik-Art became Puik in 2017: a new style, website, web shop, photography, products, colours, materials, and collection. The use of natural light and reflection, soft colours and transparency of the material enhance the effect of the unique design items.
Puik has the ambition to keep doing what they do. Their goal is to let the world know what contemporary Dutch design is.

Dutch design narrowed down to a collection of essentials. A tasteful range of furniture and accessories made by Dutch design’s finest.
Puik selects and coproduces, showcases and delivers. Straight from the source to liven up your home, or spice up any workspace.
We are selective. Our collection contains the best designs by designers who are just as demanding as we are. Each item is original, produced sustainably, and made of first-class material.

Label Puik represents contemporary Dutch designers. People who we know first-hand and closely collaborate with Frederik Roijé, Lex Pott, IliasErnst, a.o. The collection has been put together under art direction of Tineke Beunders (Ontwerpduo).
All items from Puik’s collection are for sale at one of our 300 retailers. Buyers find us at international fairs or during pop-up events, and everything is available online. Orders will be processed immediately and shipped in style.
