ITSLIQUID Group, in collaboration with The Social Hub Rome, is proud to share the remarkable success of ALCHEMIC FLOW, an experimental festival dedicated to video art, performative practices, and contemporary installations. Held from February 20 to 22, 2026, the event transformed The Social Hub Rome into a vibrant epicenter of international creativity, drawing a diverse audience into a profound exploration of modern existence.

The festival brought together a curated selection of more than 30 artists hailing from 13 different countries, creating a multicultural bridge through the universal language of art. Under the curatorial vision of Luca Curci and co-curated by Amaride Ferrante and Giulia Tassi, the project successfully realized its mission as a dynamic space for research and metamorphosis. By intersecting video art with physical installations and live performances, the event offered the public an immersive and multidisciplinary experience that challenged the traditional limits between the body, the environment, and our deepest inner dimensions.

The opening of the exhibition was marked by an evocative talk held by Luca Curci, along with co-curators Amaride Ferrante and Giulia Tassi, who guided the audience into the heart of the project. By sharing the stage with the artists for a series of intimate interviews, they transformed the presentation into a living dialogue, allowing the public to touch the inspiration behind each work and feel the pulse of the creative process. The concept of ALCHEMIC FLOW stems from the necessity to rethink the contemporary individual as a fluid entity, constantly shifting between the physical and the intangible. In an era defined by rapid technological acceleration and big ecological change, this festival serves as a laboratory for the soul, where art acts as the ultimate alchemical agent. It is a journey into the “flow”: that state of total immersion where the boundaries of the self dissolve into the environment, the digital space, and the collective memory.

The festival investigates the human experience through three interconnected realms: BODIES, the alchemy of the self, exploring the body as a temple of breath and movement; SPACES, the alchemy of the mind, navigating virtual and metaphysical dimensions to find inner stillness; and PLACES, the alchemy of the environment, analyzing how our surroundings shape our emotional well-being. The human body is conceived as a changing system that connects us with other bodies and spaces, acting as a strong communication system to perceive and transform the surrounding reality.

The exhibition was further elevated by a prestigious collaboration with Sedition x Muse Frame, which brought a selection of world-renowned digital masters to the Roman stage. This partnership allowed the audience to experience the works of visionaries like Bill Viola and Refik Anadol, whose pioneering contributions to digital and video art provided a profound conceptual anchor for the entire festival. Their presence created a high-level dialogue with the vibrant energy of emerging and mid-career artists, highlighting the continuous evolution of the digital medium and its ability to redefine the boundaries of human perception.

The curatorial journey began with the BODIES section, which investigated the human form as a primary space of transformation: a temple of breath, movement, and memory, where physical, emotional, and technological tensions are inscribed. Joe Meiser and Hans Mortelmans engaged in a powerful dialogue on the boundary between bodily discipline and the digital glitch, while Lilia Li-Mi-Yan and Katherina Sadovsky pushed this tension further into the realm of the post-human. With the contemplative path offered by İrem Çoban, exploring the essence of life through human and artificial collaboration, and the relational explorations of Viviane Rosa and cc2, the body emerged not only as a field of resistance but as a place of listening and negotiation, capable of connecting the human essence with the world.

In PLACES section explored the body in relation to the locations it inhabits and traverses, examining how the environment shapes our emotional, cognitive, and sensory experiences. The works revealed how natural, urban, or digital landscapes act as catalysts for our inner journeys, such as in the post-human reflections of Isabel Englebert and the elemental landscapes of Massimo Vito Avantaggiato. While Monika Trypuz and Katherina Sadovsky investigated the historical and architectural weight of memory, artists like Christina Sirmons and Julia Sharkina brought the body into a ritualistic and ecological dialogue with the territory. Whether dealing with digital bodies or elemental landscapes, a common thread emerged: places shape and transform our perception, revealing the environment’s capacity to become alchemy and a mirror of the human experience.

Finally, in SPACES, the Festival explored the body as a system in constant transformation, capable of perceiving and transforming the surrounding reality through virtual, metaphysical, and imaginative dimensions. This section invited visitors to find stillness and awareness within the infinite architecture of the mind. Raymond Miguel and Karolina Skorek shared visions of mental landscapes where perception and imagination blend, while Janie Fitzgerald and Terry Flaxton explored the resilience of life and speculative forms of consciousness. Through the interactive digital environments of Akane Hiraoka and the suspended perceptions of Nèfta Poetry, the space became a laboratory of possibilities where the cognitive body meets the unknown.
