ITSLIQUID Group, in collaboration with ACIT Venice: Italian-German Cultural Association, proudly announces the great success of the CANVAS INTERNATIONAL ART FAIR 2026 held at Palazzo Albrizzi-Capello in Venice, from January 23 to February 06, in celebration of the vibrant atmosphere of the Venetian Carnival season.

CANVAS ART FAIR 2026 explores the relationship between identity, space, and contemporary transformations through two main sections: BODY LANGUAGE and FUTURE LANDSCAPES. Drawing from performance, design, photography, sculpture, and painting, the exhibition unfolds as a dialogue between embodied experience, material exploration, and sensory perception. Across media, over 100 artists approach the body and landscape as fluid states of becoming, inviting viewers into spaces of introspection and emotional resonance; rather than focusing on individual objects, the presentation emphasises artistic processes shaped by movement, lived experience, and the translation of ephemeral sensations into visual language.

Margus Veisveer’s painting practice reflects a synthesis of decades of visual communication and fine art exploration: his transition from graphic design to painting infuses his work with compositional precision balanced by expressive gesture and intuitive experimentation. Moving beyond narrative imagery, Veisveer negotiates the tension between structure and emotion, where disciplined visual systems give way to painterly freedom. His approach bridges memory, design logic, and personal reinvention, revealing how long-term engagement with form evolves into a dynamic artistic language. A comparable dialogue between control and spontaneity emerges in Mona Agia’s abstract practice – through layered surfaces that combine expressive brushwork, collage fragments, graphic markings, and fluid drips, she constructs compositions that feel both structured and instinctive. Her contrasting palettes and textured fields create rhythmic emotional landscapes, where process becomes a central mode of expression and abstraction unfolds as a space of movement, depth, and transformation.

From this interplay between order and intuition, the exhibition shifts toward a more atmospheric and sensory-driven approach in Kristina Bangert’s practice. Emerging from a background in performing arts, Bangert translates theatrical presence and visual storytelling into painting and sculpture informed by light, nature, and spatial perception: her work translates impressions of travel, openness, and vast landscapes into compositions that evoke freedom and subtle emotional transformation. This sensitivity to transition continues in Violeta Amarilis’s photographic practice, shaped by her experience as a professional dancer. Approaching both body and landscape as sites of emotional memory, she frames stillness as an extension of movement, capturing suspended moments of tension, light, and presence that function as quiet choreographies, exploring fragility, rhythm, and the poetic depth of time.

The exhibition’s sculptural dimension introduces a more provocative language through the Pornobunny‘s work, rooted in queer culture, digital creation, and pop mythology, treating the body as a powerful medium of desire, identity, and emotional energy. By transforming virtual forms into physical resin sculptures, the artist embraces transformation as both process and concept: exaggerated postures and symbolic masks materialize moments of tension and instinct, presenting the body as a political, expressive site that celebrates fluidity, vulnerability, and unapologetic freedom.

This exploration is further expanded through Nataliia Hrytsyna‘s performance that dissolves boundaries between movement, breath, and external forces. Hrytsyna presents the body as an extension of the mind and the environment where fleeting gestures and rhythmic motion emerge as both transient and preserved, while breath becomes a tool of presence and transformation, resonating with the exhibition’s broader inquiry into vulnerability, perception, and physical expression.

Within the historic setting of Palazzo Albrizzi-Capello, CANVAS INTERNATIONAL ART FAIR 2026 unfolds a shared exploration of the body and environment as dynamic spaces of becoming, where art emerges as a living dialogue between sensation, memory, and emotional connection. Through a diverse range of contemporary practices – from atmospheric abstraction and choreographic photography to sculpture and performative presence – the exhibition emphasizes process over representation, weaving individual artistic languages into a cohesive and resonant narrative.
