The exhibition highlights the artistic research of international creators, reflecting on how new identities transform within contemporary spaces.

LONDON CONTEMPORARY ART FAIR 2026 analyses the relationship between body and space, and the hybridisation between identities and cultural/physical/social/urban settings in contemporary times.

We invited artists to be inspired by the magical power of London, exploring the connection between desires, needs, and fears through rituals that bring humankind to change, transform and evolve their inner world.

Within the vibrant and symbolic context of London, LONDON CONTEMPORARY unfolds as a multilayered investigation into the relationship between body and space, where identity emerges as a fluid and constantly shifting condition.

Among the artistic voices presented, Silvia Mariani’s photographic narratives introduce an intimate dimension, where the body is not always physically present, yet profoundly felt through absence, memory, and emotional tension. Her imagery becomes a threshold space, suspended between longing and belonging, where the desire for connection reflects a deeper need to locate oneself within an ever-changing environment.

This sense of fragility resonates with Inna Voronova’s dreamlike compositions, where figures and symbols dissolve into layered, kaleidoscopic visions: she expands the discourse into the subconscious realm, where identity is no longer fixed but continuously redefined through the interplay of time, memory, and imagination. In both practices, the body becomes a transient entity – fragmented, evoked, or transformed – mirroring the complexity of contemporary existence.

In contrast, Pilar Xercavins Casas approaches the relationship between body and space through materiality and process through the use of natural pigments and organic elements introduces a performative interaction between the artist, the environment, and time itself. The canvas becomes a site of transformation, where natural forces act as agents of change, echoing the rituals of growth, decay, and regeneration – a profound connection to the physical world, suggesting that identity is not only shaped by social and cultural contexts but also by an intrinsic bond with nature and its cycles.

Craig Zuckerman extends this exploration into a different dimension, where the body is reimagined at a microscopic scale: through his “landscapes”, biological structures are transformed into immersive digital environments, blurring the boundaries between science and imagination. His work challenges traditional perceptions of space, expanding it beyond the visible and into the speculative, where identity is reframed as a complex system of interconnected elements, reflecting both the individuality of the human body and its integration within larger networks.

Together, these artists construct a dynamic and interconnected narrative in which the body is no longer a stable or singular entity, but a site of continuous transformation shaped by emotional, environmental, and technological forces within the pulsating energy of London, offering new perspectives on the evolving relationship between self and space in our time.
