The 4th edition of LONDON CONTEMPORARY ART FAIR represented a forum for the direct exchange of ideas and contacts between collectors, artists, photographers, designers and art professionals. The art fair featured paintings, sculptures, photography art, installations, video art and live performance and focused on the relationship between body and space, and the hybridization between identities and cultural/physical/social/urban settings in contemporary times.
Artists, architects and designers have been invited to be inspired by the magical power of London, exploring the connection between desires, needs, and fears through rituals that bring humankind to change, transform and evolve their inner world.

The 4th edition of LONDON CONTEMPORARY opened its doors with 2 live performances: Suzzanne Ponomarenko stunned the audience with an interpretation that encapsulated the energetic qualities that organically emerge when humans are in communion with nature. On the other hand, Eduardo Ibraim reinterpreted the theme with “El NIÑO.dry version”, a performance that investigated the relationship between body and soul in a dance on the limits and boundaries between heaven and earth.
The theme of identity was thoroughly investigated by Simone Cosac Naify, whose paintings and art conveyed the emotions she felt creating them: for her, art has always been a visceral way of expression. Galya Lutzky, artist and mathematician, is fascinated by the connection between the two fields: she is interested in the interaction between structures and she reflects on the balance between order and freedom, regularity and randomness, structure and movement, logic and intuition in art.

Many artists have reinterpreted the theme through a camera lens: this is the case of Suzanne Razijin, who considers photography a reflection of her character. She tried to surprise people with her unconventional way of looking at certain subjects. She also feels that faces in her photos are often irrelevant. It is not important who is in the picture, but that the message gets through. She wanted to entertain the viewer with her work. Similarly, Eva Lanska has always been fascinated with photography and her artworks always explored the theme of strong women leaders who are dedicated to various social problems. The topic of the exhibition has been also well analyzed through the video works selection projected during the exhibition, which includes video artists like Mimi Seton, Eun Gyeong Kim, Lucia Ravens, Ivan Stanev and Lexygius Sanchez Calip.
