We invited all the artists to immerse themselves in a multisensory exploration of their consciousness and to share their personal artistic research through any kind of media, from painting to sculptures and installation, from photography to video art and live performance.

Starting from paintings, through photography and video art, exploring the human body and the digital world, the senses are the creatives’ common ground, the core and the essence through which they can express themselves. SENSES ART FAIR is about exploring and experimenting with new hybridizations, and creating new possible worlds while sharing a hub for dialogue, unity, and exchange among artists, architects, designers, critics, public and private institutions, and art enthusiasts.

The international artists participating in the second edition of SENSES ART FAIR explore the theme of perception through emotional, spiritual, and sensory dimensions. With a deep, rooted sensory connection to the natural world, Dr. Lowly’s abstract paintings offer a vibrant journey through color, texture, and emotion, inviting viewers into a tactile and visual meditation on beauty and impermanence. Through his intuitive “squeeze and splatter” technique, each composition becomes a physical extension of sensation, fiery sunsets, glacial silences, and forest rhythms transformed into layered gestures. Formerly a physician and entrepreneur, Lowly merges analytical precision with raw creative instinct, using his self-taught practice to craft immersive spaces of reflection and joy.

Jeff Corwin’s “Guns In America series” powerfully embodies the core themes of the event, where the exploration of sensory perception meets urgent social commentary. Through meticulously crafted photographic installations, Corwin confronts the personal and collective shadows of gun violence, transforming cold objects into charged visual narratives suffused with stark lighting and vivid color. His extensive experience bridging commercial precision and fine art expression, Corwin’s imagery resonates as both a personal reckoning and a broader cultural reflection, capturing the tension between human vulnerability and the digital world’s pervasive influence.

Through tactile repetition and meditative form, Marie Puybaraud’s clay sculptures embody a quiet intensity that invites a deep sensory engagement. Inspired by ancient idols and prayerful postures, her enigmatic figures – sculpted from black clay, punched into form, and layered with textured patinas – become conduits for stillness and spiritual presence. Living a life of material exploration and intuitive making, her work bridges the rawness of recycled elements with the delicacy of color and surface. Each piece vibrates with understated energy, offering a multisensory experience that is at once physical, emotional, and contemplative, where gesture becomes ritual and silence becomes voice.

Offering a collective experience where sensitivity and experimentation meet and revealing how art can reconnect us to the subtle layers of reality, Jan Van Coillie channels the noise and disorder of contemporary life into a raw, process-driven practice that prioritizes sensation over finality. Working in abandoned industrial spaces, his pieces emerge like sensory exhalations, spontaneous and visceral, where materials such as oil, gesso, charcoal, and even dust from the floor converge in layered gestures. Here, the classical notion of still life is unravelled into a visual field of movement, tension, and texture.

In a meditative dialogue with light and perception, Jo Gi’s large-scale drawings unfold as quiet studies of presence, rhythm, and connection. Her pieces trace concentric gestures that echo the cycles of breath and time, forming delicate webs where the human form is not isolated but intricately embedded within the environment. Through repetition and spatial nuance, her work invites us into a contemplative experience where light is both subject and medium, and where drawing becomes a vehicle for sensing rather than merely seeing. Meanwhile, Kirana Haag’s abstract paintings resonate deeply with SENSES ART FAIR’s focus on sensory exploration and hybrid artistic expressions, as she translates fleeting moments of natural beauty and inner emotion into bold, minimalist brushstrokes. Her work, marked by a patient dialogue with the canvas and a profound connection to her surroundings, creates a visual language that is both raw and refined, bridging personal introspection with universal themes of presence and perception in an increasingly digital age.

Anna di Gaeta’s photographic series “Ballet meets street” seamlessly reflects SENSES’s celebration of multisensory exploration by merging the elegance of classical dance with the vibrant energy of urban street art. Through her lens, the ephemeral grace of ballerinas contrasts with the raw textures of graffiti, creating a poetic dialogue between discipline and spontaneity, tradition and modernity.

Guided by a lifelong sensitivity to sight, sound, and memory, Robert E. Falcone weaves personal history, medical insight, and artistic instinct into richly layered works that explore perception and illusion. In his recent series, the alter ego Elliot Falcone invites viewers on a golden-age journey through manipulated vintage travel imagery, embellished with oil and gold leaf, that evokes an idealized world filtered through nostalgia. These works are sensorially lush and emotionally seductive, yet quietly question the truthfulness of memory and the distortions of longing. As Elliot navigates a past he never lived, Falcone creates visual spaces that balance beauty with irony, inviting us to reflect on what we choose to see, remember, and forget.
