ITSLIQUID Group is proud to celebrate the great success of the opening of “La resistenza pacifica delle stelle“, the solo exhibition by Stefania Ruggieri, held on September 11, 2026 at the historic Museo del Colore – Santa Teresa dei Maschi, in Bari. Marking the first exhibition organized by ITSLIQUID Group in the city, the opening welcomed a warm and attentive audience, filling the baroque halls of the complex with a rare sense of intimacy and reflection. Curated by Luca Curci and co-curated by Giulia Tassi, the exhibition remains open to the public until September 24.

The exhibition finds its ideal home within the Complesso di Santa Teresa dei Maschi, a jewel of Baroque architecture set between Bari’s Cathedral and the Basilica of San Nicola. Built in the late seventeenth century by Discalced Carmelite friars, the site pairs its austere Greek-cross design with the contemporary mission of the Museo del Colore, dedicated to the history and chemistry of color. This evocative dialogue between the historical setting and the sensory exploration of color creates a natural backdrop for Stefania Ruggieri’s work, seamlessly weaving contemporary practice into the venue’s chromatic resonance.

The exhibition marks the culmination of a fourteen-year analytical journey for the artist. A poet by trade and an artist by necessity, Ruggieri presents a body of work that deconstructs the ephemeral nature of daily news to build a permanent sanctuary of collective memory.
At the heart of the exhibition is the technique of decontextualised collage. Ruggieri treats a symbol of fleeting information and modern anxiety, the daily newspaper, as raw material: words, headlines, and faces are dismantled and reassembled to spark new semantic meanings. Each piece becomes a critical mirror: a visual synthesis that transforms the “breaking news” of the moment into a lasting political, social, and cultural statement. It is a process of “destruction and creation” where the media’s language is broken down to reveal the underlying tensions and quiet hopes of the human condition.

Inspired by the Logos and the ancient connection between the stars and the invention of writing, Ruggieri makes visible the power of images and words in preserving intergenerational memory. “Words build worlds, but they also do the opposite; they destroy to recreate or to generate terrifying deserts. They heal individual and collective wounds“, says Curator Loredana Ruggieri.
In a historical moment where truth often feels fragile, Ruggieri’s compositions invite the “observer-reader” to find a personal truth within the apparent nonsense of scattered words. Like the boreal constellations, these works offer a guide through the darkness, representing what the artist calls a “peaceful resistance“.
