The exhibition reimagines the body as a dynamic field of experimentation, a living archive where personal, social, and virtual dimensions converge, shaping new identities for an interconnected multicultural society.

VISIONS explores the many facets of social, physical, and cultural identity in contemporary society. Every day, we navigate different roles and selves: our public life shapes and is shaped by social identity, while our body and choices evolve alongside physical and sexual identity. As cultures and cities transform, new possibilities emerge for “liquid identities” within “liquid cities.”

The exhibition invited artists to explore how individual and collective identities interact with society and space, translating personal and cultural narratives into visual dialogues that reveal the fluidity and complexity of contemporary life.

The exhibition brings together diverse artistic practices that reinterpret the body and space as vessels of memory, transformation, and personal narrative: among them, Ebru Özen explores form, color, and texture through immersive compositions that invite reflection, moving between intensity and subtlety, revealing the emotional resonance of shape and chromatic depth. Her works channel emotion through gesture and chromatic nuance, suggesting inner landscapes that unfold slowly before the viewer. This attention to expressive detail finds an echo in Nesma Dahawy’s multicultural practice, where the warmth of Eastern palettes meets contemporary visual languages shaped by her life between Cairo, Istanbul, and her travels abroad. Dahawy’s blending of traditional and digital techniques expands the conversation, introducing a layered dialogue between memory, heritage, and modern perception.

From this exploration of emotion and cultural resonance, the exhibition moves into a more corporeal and spatial investigation through the work of Bela Gutman, whose pastel and charcoal studies of the human figure emphasize structure, balance, and tension, drawing from his architectural background to reveal how bodies inhabit and negotiate space. Gutman’s attention to weight and movement transitions naturally into the practice of Justyna Kubica, whose multidisciplinary work captures fleeting impressions of life through painting, drawing, and ceramics. Her pieces function as intimate records of experience, insisting on authenticity while tracing the subtle shifts of light, form, and human presence.

Together, these artists build a continuous, interwoven dialogue that moves from emotional interiority to cultural memory, from the physical body to the intimate everyday object. Their works collectively shape an environment where identity, perception, and lived experience intersect, inviting viewers to reflect on the shifting boundaries of contemporary selfhood and the many narratives that compose it.

ITSLIQUID GROUP includes a section dedicated to the organization of international art events, managing exhibitions of painting, photography, video art, installation and performance; it organizes solo and collective shows, art residencies and international contests.
