Alessandra Francini is an Italian abstract painter who was born in Genoa 1965. In 1988 she moved to Germany, where she spent a large part of her adult life in Munich. Whilst in Munich she graduated in mathematics and architecture. She loves to travel and to experience different cultures, she appreciates the arts and trains her eye to architecture and interior design. She discovered her passion for abstract painting when she attended the studio of the artist Christl Platte where she dedicated herself to large-format works using natural materials, collage, mixed media and acrylic on canvas.
