The story of Nani & Co.

The story of Nani & Co. has its roots in the architectureSibilano Valentina, a young architect from Bari, is a rising star in the world of jewelery.

Valentina never leaves the architecture, but brings his skills and knowledge to a new location, which she likes to call “jewelry design.” Forms and architectural styles are suitable for small size: bracelets, rings, necklaces and earrings.

A collection of handmade jewelry, that the use of highly innovative materials and techniques, such as clay handmade, marble resin and a thin plastic and two-dimensional. Valentina from her experience of environmental certification, uses biodegradable resins,in order to guarantee even in jewel specific attention to environmental sustainability.

Through manual manipulation materials take three-dimensional features, maintaining the rigorous style derived architecture, but enriched with a new lightweight material.

Rubberband

Ajay Shah is an industrial/furniture designer based in Mumbai, India. After graduating from the National Insitute of Design in Ahmedabad, he started ASDS (Ajay Shah Design Studio) in 1991 and now serves as the principal designer. As a passion project, he started Rubberband in 2008 with the view of creating functional yet fun products that closely follow his design ideologies. Besides his own product developments, he finds stimulation while collaborating with international designers. He considers himself lucky to have his design heroes come on board to design special collections for Rubberband. Read more
