It’s LIQUID Group is extremely proud to announce the Winners of THE WORLD – PERSONAL TALES: International Photography, Video Art and Performance Awards 2016. Artists shared any kind of personal stories and experiences. From hidden places to everyday life. From an abstract vision to the language of body.

JURORS’ VOTE
Winner’s selected artwork will be showcased during the next three It’s LIQUID exhibitions in Buenos Aires (Argentina), Kent (Uk) and Venice (Italy) in 2016. Best artist will be featured on It’s LIQUID website.

PUBLIC VOTE
Photography Award: best photographer will be presented during the next It’s LIQUID exhibition in Buenos Aires (Argentina) at Laura Haber Gallery in 2016. Best photographer will be interviewed and published on It’s LIQUID website.
Video Art: best video art work will be displayed during the next It’s LIQUID Art and Architecture International festival “BORDERS”, Venice in May 2016. The winner will be presented on It’s LIQUID website.
Performance Awards: the three most voted works will be showcased during the next It’s LIQUID Art and Architecture International festival “BORDERS”, Venice May-November 2016. Each winner will be featured on It’s LIQUID website.

They were a cornerstone of the artist’s retrospective, Gerhard Richer: Painting After All, at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York last year. In conjunction with this key group of six paintings, a new group of drawings created by Richter on consecutive days during the summer of 2020 is being shown for the first time. Read more

LEE BUL: UTOPIA SAVED

Lee Bul (b. 1964) is an artist based in Seoul, South Korea. Trained as a sculptor during the period of social and political upheavals of the 1980s, she started off her artistic career with performative pieces that incorporated wearable soft sculptures. In the 1990s she gained international recognition with a series of provocative works, including her scandalous installation of fresh fish left to decay and her Cyborg sculptures, hybrids of machine and organic forms.
