Ultracontemporary brings hyper-current fashion to Phoenix Art Museum. Featuring ensembles by renowned designers such as Gucci, Iris van Herpen, Comme des Garçons, and Yeohlee, the multimedia exhibition, which also includes runway-show footage for select collections, explores how fashion is responding to an increasingly diverse and fluid global society.

Garments on view reference and interpret various defining aspects of contemporary culture, including sustainability, collage and illustrative art, and technology. With its diversity of silhouettes, patterns, and fabrics across head-to-toe looks, Ultracontemporary demonstrates how the fashions of today merge luxury, commercial, and street styles to reflect the fluidity our current time.
