VIEW Premium Selection: The start of the season for the European premium fabric industry in Munich was a complete success – inspiring insights for Autumn/Winter 2023/24, new leads and concentrated work in the best summer mood. Trends and inspiration. Networking and business. Finally back as a physical show at Munich’s MVG Museum. The VIEW Premium Selection, the Preview Textile Show of Munich Fabric Start Exhibitions GmbH, came to a successful close today.
With a selective choice of over 300 pre-collections, the event from 21 to 22 June 2022 was fully booked and more international than ever. Whether from Akris, Baldessarini, Bogner, Calvin Klein, Cinque, Comma, Drykorn, Escada, Hugo Boss, Lala Berlin, Lagerfeld, Laurél, MAC, Marc Cain, Marc O’Polo, Riani, Schumacher or Strellson – the buying and design teams from companies in the upmarket ready-to-wear sector across Europe had travelled to Munich to find out about new developments and initial colour and material trends for Autumn/Winter 2023/24 at the earliest possible time.
The VIEW Premium Selection is divided into four areas: FABRICS, ADDITIONALS, DESIGN STUDIOS and DENIM & SPORTSWEAR. Together they form the trend pool and business platform for information and inspiration for Europe’s fashion experts. “The atmosphere is great and it is worth so much to finally be able to see each other again. People are very busy with the current situation. Delivery problems, price increases – the industry is facing huge challenges. Against this background, many important conversations take place here at VIEW,” says Nick Müller, Max Müller Agency with collections such as Limonta, Riopele, Mitsui, Inwool, Fabric Lab.
Previews for AW23/24. From maxi checks to metawear, from enthusiastic colours and shiny, moving surfaces to high-tech and textile intelligence. Early on in the season, it’s clear that it’s all about making statements.
