Yoshiaki “Yoshi” Ito is an award-winning designer known for blending modern sensibilities with traditional Japanese aesthetics. Since relocating to the United States in 1999, Yoshiaki has embarked on an artistic journey marked by simplicity, authenticity, and excellence. His early exposure to traditional Japanese craftsmanship shaped his design philosophy. In New York, Yoshiaki immersed himself in Brooklyn’s vibrant artistic community, honing his skills and expanding his creative horizons. He studied sculpture at the City University of New York, combining theoretical knowledge with practical expertise. Yoshiaki’s career highlights include designing the acclaimed Cubebot puzzle toy and developing the brand TAMEN at Fortiac Corporation. His work at 212box Architecture and the introduction of the Ito 5-Piece Wood Puzzle at MoMA have cemented his reputation as an innovative designer.

    POTTERY & POETRY is a home fashion brand for unique handmade ceramics. Based in Sofia, Bulgaria, their small team of talented artisans creates vibrant tableware that turns daily moments at home into small celebrations. "Every dish you serve can taste better as the process of eating starts with observation", explains architect Maria Baleva, who embarked on her crafting journey four years ago. First, it was just a personal temptation to express her creativity in a new way through the endless process of improvisation with porcelain forms and glaze colors. A few years into the experiment, her irregular plates and one-of-a-kind sets could be found in homes, restaurants, and cafes all over the world. Read more
