ZEROSTILE

It’s a sunny and warm day like one of those that you have in Sardinia. Susy and Daniele have been sharing a project from a while, but they could not find the right name for it. It is Daniele who suddenly has it: “ZEROSTILE“. From that moment onwards, the dream becomes reality. In the year 2014, the business starts by experimenting different manufacts and carries on by defining itself in the field of cork and Swarovski made jewelry.

ZEROSTILE S.n.c. is a cultural meeting point, where East meets West. It is the desire to make a dream come truth, supported by the tenaciousness and creativity of Daniele and the precision and persistency of Susy that together bond into the delicate and elegant creations. In the small workshop of Monastir (Sardinia) you breathe the pleasant smell of cork and you feel transported to a dimension of past times. Each step of the creation of manufacts is rigorously planned and verified, each material is chosen with care and attention.

The days in the workshop ZEROSTILE start by admiring the view from the entrance door to the outside. A wide scene of Campidano plain that every winter offers, in the distance, the mountain tops which are graciously whitened by the light snow, while in the summer it is the wheat crops, the pasture and the flocks of sheep that cheer you up before an intense working day begins. Inside the workshop the artisanal jewels are on the verge to be made but before effective production they must pass numerous tests: cork type, dimensions, incisions.

A ZEROSTILE creation is not created unless all tests are passed. Sometimes work is paused by moments of pure conviviality. A cup of coffee or tea together with the team represents a break but also a chance for an useful discussion about work and production method improvements and for new creativity proposals. Even when work becomes intense, the final goal is never out of the sight: the creation of delicate and elegant creations, designed for women that love a non-mundane elegance and wish to wear jewelry with a strong personality.

Holding a ZEROSTILE jewel in your hand means intimately meeting a small fragment of nature, to be worn on each occasion and recalling the fragrant smell of ancient cork oaks from the woods. When Susy and Daniele think about the future of their project, they see ZEROSTILE as a breeding ground for ideas and creations linked to nature, innovation and collaborations. Whenever anyone gets in touch with ZEROSTILE, for any reason, they can rest assured to be cared of, to be advised and to be seriously, professionally and kindly treated.
